In 1922, Abraham Landow established his architectural practice in New York City.  In 1960, he was joined by his son Lloyd J. Landow and the firm became Landow and Landow Architects.  When Robin Landow Levitin, Marc J. Landow, and Glen J. Landow joined the firm as principals, we entered our third generation.

With numerous successful projects, awards, and publications of our work, and backed by a staff of professionals with extensive training and experience, Landow and Landow continues to build on the reputation we have earned for creativity, innovation, personal service, and a businesslike approach that respects our clients' long-term goals, time frames, and budgets.

In architecture, interior design, and strategic planning, we gauge our success by the lasting relationships we have developed with our clients over the years, as nearly all of our commissions come from repeat clients or referrals.

These simple ideas guide our approach to every project we undertake:

We believe each project should be treated as unique and each client as worthy of the attention and service of the principals of our firm.

We constantly examine ways of designing spaces with the goal of creating exciting, functional, and comfortable environments that add value to our clients’ operations and facilities.

We help our clients think beyond the scope of their experience to be certain that their building program will satisfy their needs now and in the predictable future.

We take the time to understand our clients’ businesses, operations, and aspirations so we can satisfy their needs with designs that are innovative, flexible, and cost conscious.
