We designed this adult day healthcare center to accommodate 70 participants. The facility was constructed in a portion of the first floor of a multi-story apartment building in a mixed residential and commercial neighborhood.

The first floor of the building had originally been designed to accommodate individual doctors’ offices, each having private entrances from the street. We combined these discreet spaces to create the facility.

The Center provides social activities and healthcare services to elderly residents of the community, enabling them to remain in their own homes and delay or avoid institutionalization.
